If arriving from the A591take the turn off for Windermere town centre the A5074. Drive through the town towards Bowness, after approx half a mile take a left turn at the Baddeley Clock (which is on your left) and then a right onto Prince's Road. Thorncliffe can be found on the right mid-terrace just after the turning for Queen's Drive. It is in-between Montfort Cottage and Glenthorne. Look for the bear on the porch. Please note - we do not have a sign.
If arriving from the A592 drive through Bowness village towards Windermere on the A5074. After approx .5 mile, take a right turn onto Thornbarrow Road, then a left turn onto Prince's Road. Thorncliffe can be found on the left after approx 200yds. it is in-between Montfort Cottage and Glenthorne. Look for the bear on the porch.
If travelling by train the nearest station is Windermere, it is approx 1 mile walking distance to the house.
National Express coaches drop off in Windermere, next to the rail station. Taxis are available.
